Dot Abyss Account Transfer & PC Migration

Dot Abyss runs on a DMM account backbone: link once and your progress follows you across iOS, Android, the PC browser and the DMM GAMES PLAYER client. This guide covers the linking steps, the recommended mobile-to-PC route, and the traps — because an unlinked account that is lost is gone forever.

01

How to Get Your Account

You get a transferable account by creating a free DMM account at dmm.com (email + password) and linking it to your in-game save. Dot Abyss does not offer guest-to-cloud recovery — if you play without linking, you never truly "have" an account, only a device-local save file.

  • Create DMM account first — register at dmm.com before opening the link menu in game.
  • Finish rerolling first — linking locks identity; complete the reroll loop on mobile before binding your keeper account.
  • Use the app version for linking — iOS, Android or DMM GAMES STORE; the link menu lives in the mobile client.
  • Campaign items may require it — some launch rewards explicitly need a DMM GAMES account connection to claim.
Unlinked accounts cannot be recovered. If your phone breaks or app data is wiped, support cannot restore progress without a linked DMM ID.

How to Play Your Account

Once linked, playing on PC is just a login — your characters, gems, story progress, tavern levels and bond data sync live. Cross-play is free account insurance: collect idle rewards on your phone at lunch and push floors on PC at night.

PC browser versionOpen Dot Abyss on DMM GAMES in Chrome and log in with the linked DMM account. Zero install; best for quick daily sessions.
DMM GAMES PLAYERInstall DMM's Windows client and log in. Best performance for long idle sessions (recommended: Windows 11, i7-8700-class CPU, 16 GB RAM).
Both directions workProgress is shared in real time across mobile and PC — no manual export needed.
Same gacha inventoryCharacters and free gems sync; see FAQ below for paid-currency platform rules.

How to Find Your Account in the Game

The DMM link option is buried in the mobile app menu — not on PC, and not visible until you reach the main Frontline Base screen after tutorial.

  1. Open Dot Abyss on iOS / Android / DMM GAMES STORE and reach the home (Frontline Base) screen.
  2. Tap the menu button in the top-right corner.
  3. Look for account / data-link (DMMアカウント連携) — wording may vary slightly by update.
  4. Select link and sign in to your DMM account in the browser prompt.
  5. Return to the game and confirm the status shows connected / linked.

04

How to Protect Your Your Account

Protecting your account means linking before disaster, linking the correct DMM ID, and never treating an unlinked save as safe. Cross-play only helps if you linked first.

  • Reroll first, link second. Linking locks the account identity — finish rerolling, then link the keeper immediately.
  • Do not link the wrong DMM account. Unlinking is generally not user-serviceable; double-check the email before confirming.
  • Do not play deeply on an unlinked save. Every hour of tavern, bond and gacha progress on an unlinked account is one dropped phone away from total loss.
  • Enter gift codes after linking. Codes are account-bound; reroll deletion wipes redemption history.
Cross-play is free account insurance — the same data runs on mobile and PC, so a second device is always available once linked.

05

How to Complete Your Account

Completing a full mobile-to-PC migration takes five minutes after your reroll is settled: link on mobile, install or open the PC client, log in with the same DMM credentials, and verify your roster matches.

  1. Create a DMM account at dmm.com if you do not have one (email + password).
  2. In the mobile app menu, open DMMアカウント連携 and sign in.
  3. Confirm link status shows connected — that screen is your proof the data is safe.
  4. On PC, open the browser version or install DMM GAMES PLAYER.
  5. Log in with the same DMM account and verify characters, gems and story chapter match mobile.

How to Verify a Successful Transfer

Verifying a successful transfer is a checklist, not a feeling. Run through every item below before you delete the app, switch devices or spend money on a new platform.

Can I transfer between iOS and Android?

Yes. The DMM link is platform-agnostic: link on one device, install on the other, and sign in with the same DMM account.

Does the PC version share gacha and purchases with mobile?

Account data — characters, gems earned in game, progress — is shared. Paid-currency balances can be platform-segregated in DMM titles per store policies, so check the in-game notice before buying on a specific platform.

I linked the wrong account. Can I undo it?

Account unlinking is generally not user-serviceable. Contact DMM support through the official help channels, and avoid playing on the wrong link in the meantime.

Can I still reroll after linking?

The PC version cannot reroll at all, and a linked mobile account defeats the purpose of rerolling. Treat linking as your "this account is final" switch.

  • PC login loads the same commander name and Frontline Base layout.
  • Character roster count matches — especially SSRs from your reroll and gacha pulls.
  • Gem and ticket balances match (free currency; paid balances may differ by platform — read in-game notices).
  • Story chapter and tavern level match — quick checks that deep progress synced.
  • Run one action on each platform — collect idle rewards on phone, then confirm the timer updated on PC.
If anything mismatches, stop spending and contact DMM support before playing further. Platform details and system requirements are on the release page.
