Gacha System
Dot Abyss Gacha System Guide
Dot Abyss hands out an unusually generous launch bankroll — 12,000+ Abyss Gems plus stacks of tickets — but its rate structure has sharp edges, including 0.06% ultra-rares and limited pickups. This guide maps every banner, decodes the odds, and shows how to budget gems so you never regret a pull.

How to Get the Gacha
Free gacha income at launch is massive: pre-registration alone grants 12,000+ Abyss Gems (40+ pulls), plus login bonuses, beginner missions, faction quests and event campaigns. The reroll guide walks through spending this bankroll optimally — tutorial redraw, pickup banner and premium tickets in one loop.
- Pre-registration & present box — claim 12,000+ gems immediately after tutorial; do not leave them unclaimed.
- Beginner missions — day 2 login gives an SSR-guaranteed ticket; full completion awards a Select SSR Box.
- Login bonuses & events — launch festivals drip tickets and gems for weeks.
- Faction quests — steady post-launch gem income for patient F2P players.
- Codes — when EXNOA publishes serial codes, redeem after your reroll is settled (deletion wipes code history).

How to Play the Gacha
Dot Abyss runs multiple parallel banners, each with different currency and purpose. Pulling randomly across all of them is the fastest way to regret your start — match the banner to your goal.
| Banner | Currency | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Wendy & Vira W Pickup | Abyss Gems | Launch limited banner with boosted rates for the two SS-tier units. Your free 40+ pulls belong here. |
| Premium Gacha | Premium tickets / gems | Standing pool with every permanent character, including the 0.06% Luxnova five. |
| Release SSR-Guaranteed Ticket Gacha | Launch campaign tickets | One guaranteed SSR per ticket; beginner mission day 2 gives one. |
| Select SSR Gacha | Select shards (かけら) | Guaranteed SSR from the same 12-unit pool as the tutorial redraw — a slow-pity selector. |
| Tutorial Gacha | Free (one-time) | Redrawable SSR-guaranteed 10-pull; excludes limited and Luxnova units. |

How to Find the Gacha in the Game
Gacha menus sit on the Frontline Base hub and in dedicated banner screens reachable from the home news panel. Always open the banner detail page before spending — rates, pool lists and any ceiling rules live there.
- Gacha button — main hub after tutorial; shows active banners with timers.
- Banner detail / provision rate (提供割合) — per-banner odds table; the only authoritative rate source.
- News panel — announces new banners, ticket grants and rate changes.
- Inventory — separate counters for gems, premium tickets, campaign tickets and select shards.
- Character roster — check who you already own before pulling select pools or spending shards.
04
How to Protect Your the Gacha
Gems are the scarcest renewable resource after launch week. Protect them by never spending on stamina refreshes, never chasing 0.06% Luxnova units on purpose, and never pulling without reading the current provision-rate page.
- SSR is the top rarity, with individual unit rates varying inside the bracket — read the in-game table for exact per-unit numbers.
- The Luxnova five (Electra, Pico, Laveria, Sylvia, Myrtille) sit at 0.06% each. Never plan an account around pulling them; treat any hit as a windfall.
- Limited pickups leave the pool. Wendy and Vira have boosted rates only during the launch banner.
- Duplicates become limit-break (限界突破) fuel. Extra copies raise a unit's cap — dupes of core units are never fully wasted.
05
How to Complete the Gacha
Completing your launch gacha setup means executing the reroll loop, spending the pickup bankroll, burning free tickets, and banking select shards for gaps — then linking the account so nothing is lost.
- Run the tutorial redraw until you hold a strong select-pool SSR (Nina is a common target).
- Spend ~40 gems on the Wendy & Vira pickup — this is the reroll's main objective.
- Use premium tickets on the Premium Gacha (10-pull + 2 singles from launch rewards).
- Claim beginner mission SSR ticket and evaluate whether to stop or delete account data.
- Link to DMM via the account transfer guide before entering codes or heavy progression.
06
How to Beat / Optimize the Gacha
Maximizing gacha value is budgeting, not luck rituals. F2P players who save banner-sized chunks and prioritize limited units over permanent pool filler fund every future pickup.
Is there a pity / spark system?
Check the banner detail screen in game — DMM titles vary, and Dot Abyss documents its ceiling rules (if any) per banner in the provision-rate page. Do not assume a spark exists before reading it.
Should I pull the Premium Gacha hoping for Luxnova units?
No. At 0.06% each they are lottery prizes, not targets. Pull Premium with tickets you get for free and let Luxnova hits be a bonus.
What do I do with the Select SSR shards?
Bank them until you know which of the 12 select-pool units your formation is missing — they are one of the only deterministic SSR sources in the game.
Limited or permanent — who should a new player chase?
Limited first, always. Wendy and Vira may not return for a long time, while Nina and the rest of the standing pool can drop any day you play.

- Spend the launch bankroll on the pickup banner. Limited units plus boosted rates beat the standing pool in value per pull.
- After launch, save to banner-sized chunks. Hold a reserve big enough to chase one full banner rather than dribbling 10-pulls everywhere.
- Tickets first, gems second. Ticket-only banners cannot absorb gems — clear ticket stock first.
- Never spend gems on stamina or refreshes. Idle income covers materials; characters are the only purchase that compounds.
- Free income is steady — login bonuses, beginner missions, faction quests and events keep a consistent gem drip.
